Failed Assessment Policy

on

The failing of an assessment by a referee is a very important learning experience and opportunity for calibrating one’s understanding of the Laws of the Game. Upon completion of a match, an assessor is required to verbally debrief a referee if they have failed an assessment. The specific reason(s) will be documented in an assessment report to the referee. Notification is to be submitted within 48 hours to the appropriate National or State Assessor Coordinator.

No new assessments can be requested within 2 weeks following the failing of an assessment by a referee. These requirements will bolster the utilization of our assessors and limit the number of failing assessments.
