Regional Referee Renewal

***For the 2020 registration year, you may renew through the U.S. Soccer Learning Center OR through Game Officials.***

Annual Requirements

  1. In-Service Training: Online in U.S. Soccer Learning Center
  2. Laws of the Game Test: Online in U.S. Soccer Learning Center
  3. Safety and Compliance: Background Check in U.S. Soccer Learning Center
  4. Fitness Test: Pass the FIFA Sprint and Interval Tests
    • Male: Category 1
    • Female: Category 2
    • **Currently registered referees may take the 2019 fitness test (45s/45s interval run and 6 sprints at 9s) to qualify for 2020 Regional Referee certification. The new fitness standard will be required for the 2021 registration year.**
  5. Practical Evaluation: Minimum of 2 passing evaluations
    • One at the adult amateur level
    • One at the highest youth level (U18/U19)(45 min half)
    • Evaluations must be done by two different referee coaches

Game Officials Registration

  1. Click on the link to register: https://cnra.gameofficials.net/public/class/classRegister.cfm?classID=30149
  2. Log into Game Officials and update any and all contact information
  3. Once registered, click on the load session tracker button and complete the concussion video and Regional referee exam
  4. Once you have completed the concussion video and grassroots referee exam, we will approve your registration. Please note that until you complete the concussion video and the Grassroots referee exam, your registration will not be approved.

U.S. Soccer Learning Center Registration

ALL Regional Referees MUST create an account in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center. Once this is done, your previous registration information will be automatically loaded.

STEP 1: SIGN UP IN THE LEARNING CENTER

  1. Navigate to learning.ussoccer.com/referee
  2. Select “Sign Up” in the upper right corner
  3. Enter your information. (The Learning Center will attempt to identify currently registered referees by first name, last name, date of birth, and/or email address)

STEP 2: RE-CERTIFY

  1. Select “Courses” on the top navigation bar: The system will automatically load the Available Courses menu upon arrival. 
  2. In the menu on the left side of the screen, select Regional Courses – Re-certifying Referees
  3. Click “Go to Course List”
  4. Select “2020 Regional Referee Recertification”
  5. Complete the online training, test, and background check requirements
  6. Once payment is processed, your registration will be complete
  7. Your badge will be mailed to you
