Advanced Referee Program
The Advanced Referee Program provides targeted instruction and training for match officials who seek to improve their knowledge and skill in officiating soccer, and serves as the pathway for officials who are interested in joining the Elite Referee Program
Elite Referee Program
The Elite Referee Program is a highly-intensive training program for referees who are interested in, and show the potential for, eventually officiating in the professional game in the United States. Participants take part in monthly web-based training sessions, monthly group training exercises, and four in-person training sessions per year. Participants are held to strict fitness standards that are measured annually, and are required to participate in at least 75% of all training sessions. Additionally, participants are required to work a specific number of match assignments each month for the National Assignor for U.S. Soccer.
Futsal Referee Program
This program will provide one of the first clear development pathways in the country for referees interested in officiating futsal, with a goal of establishing clear advancement requirements and opportunities for officials who wish to work the highest levels of the game. CNRA will also create the first pathway for the development of Futsal Referee Mentors and Coaches.
